Cleaning options

  • Cleaning of oils and fats (surface tension after cleaning > = 42 mN/m)
  • Cleaning of polar contamination (salts, emulsions)
  • Removal of adhering particles as chips, flake, metal abrasion, fluff and dust

Further information on technical cleaning

  • No attack on the base metal or passivations
  • No efflorescence from material pores or joint gaps
  • Cleaning system Dürr Ecoclean EcoCcore
  • Single chamber flow system with rotary and swivelling technique
  • Dual tank system for pre-cleaning and main cleaning
  • Continuous filtration of cleaning medium (1 filter in each tank)
  • Bipolar cleaning medium (modified alcohol) for cleaning of polar contaminations (salts) and nonpolar contaminations (oils and fats)
  • Vacuum technology for cleaning, drying process and refining of cleaning agent (oil is continously discharged by distillation)

Cleaning with semi-polar cleaning agent is suitable for the following, subsequent processes:

  • Final cleaning of residual dirt before final assembly
  • Welding
  • Glueing
  • Zinc lamella coating
  • Zinc lamella topcoat coating on galvanised steel

Depending on the program, the following cleaning steps are available:

  • Steam pre-degreasing
  • Splashing
  • Ultrasonic flooding or injection pressure flooding
  • Flushing
  • Steam degreasing (fine cleaning with pure alcohol steam for maximum cleanliness)
  • Vacuum drying
